Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior MS Dynamics AX / SQL Technical Expert to serve as the primary technical authority for a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 environment. This role will lead complex technical initiatives including system upgrades, migrations, integrations, performance optimization, and database administration. The ideal candidate has deep AX technical expertise, strong SQL Server experience, and a proven track record in enterprise application support environments.
Job Description & RequirementsKey Responsibilities- Provide expert-level technical support for MS Dynamics AX 2009/2012 environments.
- Lead AX upgrades, server/database migrations, monitoring/tooling migrations, and environment refresh/rebuild activities.
- Oversee AX application, SQL database, and system integration operations.
- Perform root cause analysis for complex incidents and recurring issues.
- Drive system optimization, performance tuning, and stability improvements.
- Lead installation and integration of third-party applications (BizTalk, Streamserve, ReadSoft, CPQ, Fastpath).
- Conduct AX and SQL technical reviews aligned with Microsoft standards.
- Implement automation and operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, vendor, and application teams.
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)Experience- 5+ years experience in MS Dynamics AX technical roles with hands-on leadership of complex projects.
- Proven experience in enterprise database and application support environments.
- Deep technical expertise in AX 2009/2012.
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 (technical).
- Must NOT be a job hopper.
