Provalue Property Services, Inc., a trusted affiliate of Marivent Hotels & Resorts Inc., is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) Elevator Head to lead and oversee the company's elevator operations and vertical transportation systems across all managed properties.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management and performance of elevator systems across all properties under the Property Services Division.
- Develop and implement strategies for preventive maintenance, modernization, and asset sustainability.
- Recommend policies and improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Oversee day-to-day elevator operations and ensure timely maintenance, inspection, and repair activities.
- Monitor the performance of service providers and ensure compliance with contractual service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct regular site audits and technical assessments of elevator systems.
- Review and approve technical reports, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget for elevator operations and capital expenditures.
- Evaluate and recommend suppliers, contractors, and modernization projects based on cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Ensure all procurement and project activities comply with corporate policies and government regulations.
- Ensure that all elevator systems comply with building codes, safety regulations, and local government standards.
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and certifications of vertical transport systems.
- Promote and enforce occupational safety standards among elevator personnel and contractors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to elevator managers, engineers, and technicians.
15, Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and promote professional development within the team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate closely with the Property Operations, Engineering, and Facilities Management teams for integrated service delivery.
- Submit regular performance reports and recommendations to the Vice President Property Services and Executive Management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical escalations related to elevator systems.
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Professional License required).
- At least 8-10 years of experience in elevator systems management, with 5 years in a senior leadership or technical head role.
- Strong knowledge of elevator technology, maintenance standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing third-party elevator service contracts and modernization projects.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
