Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Avaloq Engineer/Developer to design, develop, and maintain software solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking platform. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, parameterizing the system, and driving the evolution of our digital banking products. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Avaloq Scripting, and a strong understanding of financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Development & Customization:Design, parameterize, and develop software within the Avaloq Core Banking platform, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Integration & Technical Analysis:Integrate external systems via APIs and collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into technical specifications.
- Support & QA:Troubleshoot, debug, and provide support for production systems, along with conducting code reviews and maintaining technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:3+ years in software development, with at least 2+ years specialized in the Avaloq Banking Suite.
- Technical Skills:Strong expertise in Avaloq Script, Parameterization, and Oracle PL/SQL, with Unix/Shell scripting knowledge.
- Domain Knowledge:Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., Wealth Management, Securities) and Agile methodologies.
- Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Avaloq Certified Customization Professional (ACCP) certification.
- Experience with Java, API development, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab).
