Automation Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and technically driven Automation Specialist to support Momentum MAPS client engagements focused on building and deploying workflow automations for US-based independent insurance agencies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced delivery environment and enjoys executing automation builds, configuring systems, and optimizing operational workflows.

The Automation Specialist will work directly alongside MAPS Advisors to implement scoped automation solutions across agency platforms, ensuring high-quality execution, strong operational discipline, and measurable client outcomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working with SaaS and automation tools, and confident communicating with US-based stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Build & Deployment

• Build, test, and launch automations across insurance agency workflows including renewals, claims intake, endorsements, billing, and certificates of insurance.
• Execute rigorous build → test → launch cycles with internal QA before deployment.
• Meet defined automation throughput and delivery cadence targets.

System Configuration & Integrations

• Configure workflows within platforms such as NowCerts (AMS), Momentum Automation Center (MAC), Momentum CRM, and related systems.
• Set up integrations, carrier downloads, and automation stack connections.
• Maintain detailed process flow documentation for client-specific implementations.

Client Training & Support

• Conduct training sessions, walkthroughs, and demos for client agency teams.
• Support dry-run sessions alongside MAPS Advisors before live deployments.
• Assist in onboarding and training new Automation Specialists on Momentum workflows and tools.

Task Execution & Quality Assurance

• Complete scoped tasks based on predefined acceptance criteria, priorities, and timelines.
• Self-QA all deliverables before marking tasks complete.
• Maintain accurate project updates, notes, and blocker reporting inside Rocketlane and other project management systems.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Participate in internal sync meetings and client-facing sessions when required.
• Collaborate closely with MAPS Advisors, implementation leads, and operations teams.
• Provide regular delivery and status updates to leadership stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Technical & Automation Skills

• Strong experience working with SaaS platforms, system configuration, and automation tools.
• Ability to independently learn and operate new systems with minimal supervision.
• Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms and API-driven integrations preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as NowCerts, HubSpot, Zapier, Make, or similar workflow automation platforms is highly preferred.

Communication & Client Interaction

• Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to confidently communicate with US-based stakeholders and participate in client meetings.
• Experience conducting training sessions or workflow walkthroughs is a plus.

Operational Discipline

• Strong organizational and reporting skills within structured delivery environments.
• Experience working with QA processes, Definition of Done frameworks, and task tracking systems.
• Ability to proactively identify and escalate blockers.

Salary: $2,000 USD/month
