Role Description:

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions that improve system efficiency, reliability, and resilience. This role involves building self-healing routines, health checks, recovery scripts, and request fulfillment workflows. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create solution designs, and provide production support for deployed automation. Documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation engineering, scripting, or operational tooling

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and PowerShell

• Proven track record of delivering production-grade automation end-to-end

• Experience with APIs, JSON/XML, and authentication methods (OAuth, tokens)

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices preferred

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

• Creative mindset with ability to propose innovative automation approaches
