Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in Katalon Studio to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and API testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks and continuous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automated test scripts using Katalon Studio for web and API testing.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing using automated scripts.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate with QA leads and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, scripts, and execution results.
• Participate in code reviews, test planning, and test strategy discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 1 year in Katalon Studio.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and object-oriented programming (preferably in Groovy or Java).
• Experience in API testing using Katalon or similar tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Selenium, Postman, or other automation tools.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
