Your Role
As an Automation Engineer, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for testing web, API, and backend systems.
Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and improve test coverage.
Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and enhance automation stability and performance.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in test automation or software quality engineering
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools
Preferred Skills/expertise
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
Understanding of BDD/TDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
