We are currently looking for Playwright Automation for one of our clients based in Philippines a contract role with 6-12 months under Avensys payroll and Hybrid setup in Manila for client's project . Work Setup – Hybrid

Initial 6/12 months of contract role, with possibilities of extending and renewing under Avensys payroll.

Summary:

Testing Automation Engineer to support our project by leading UI and API automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the automation framework using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Develop and stabilize robust UI & E2E automation suites.
• Implement API automation including authentication, schema validation, and backend data verification.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and optimize regression execution.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, API testing, CI/CD integration, and test stabilization is required.

As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves utilizing quality processes and automation methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role focuses on managing the end-to-end quality engineering function with an emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. Collaboration with team members and continuous improvement of testing frameworks are integral parts of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing within the development lifecycle.

- Continuously evaluate and improve existing automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.

- Document testing processes and results clearly to support transparency and knowledge sharing.

- Assist in identifying potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them through automation.

- Support the team in adopting best practices and emerging trends in test automation.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Playwright.

- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Selenium, Functional Test Planning.

- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.

- Experience in designing and implementing automated test cases for web applications.

- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.

- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Playwright.

- This position is based at our Manila office.
