We are seeking an experienced Automation Team Lead with strong expertise in Tricentis Tosca to lead a team of QA engineers in designing and implementing scalable test automation solutions. This role requires both hands-on automation expertise and team leadership skills to drive quality across enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation engineers
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct code reviews and enforce automation best practices
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning
Automation & Testing
- Design and develop advanced automation frameworks using Tosca
- Drive automation strategy, roadmap, and implementation
- Oversee creation and maintenance of reusable test assets
- Ensure high-quality test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders
- Provide test estimation, planning, and reporting
- Track defects, risks, and dependencies and escalate when required
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups)
CI/CD & Process Improvement
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Drive adoption of risk-based testing and model-based testing (Tosca)
- Continuously optimize test execution efficiency and reduce cycle time
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 6–10+ years of QA/Automation experience with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca
- Proven experience in test automation framework design & implementation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of API, UI, and integration testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
