General Description:
The CAD Operator is responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and plans using (CAD) software in translating design concepts into accurate and detailed drawings.
This will provide our design architects more focus on schematic planning, perspective design and site inspection.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Drawing Production
- Create and manage CAD libraries, blocks, and templates for efficient drawing production
- Communicate and collaborate with project team lead to understand project requirements and objectives
- Seek clarification and guidance when necessary to ensure accurate representation of design intent in drawings
- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy: completeness, and adherence to project requirements
- Maintain accurate records of drawing versions, revisions, and associated documentation
Work Experience Requirement:
- Associate degree or certification in CAD drafting or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a CAD Operator or Drafter in a relevant industry
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, standards, and conventions Attention to detail and accuracy in producing drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
