We're growing fast, and we want you on the drafting table.
Garbin GeoStructural Group is a U.S.-based specialty design-build geotechnical firm, and our project pipeline is booming. Earth retention. Ground improvement. Deep foundations. Slope stabilization.
We're building out our CAD team in the Philippines, and we're looking for a sharp, dependable AutoCAD Specialist ready to grow with us.
Why This Role is Different
This isn't a drafting factory. You'll be working directly alongside seasoned U.S. geostructural engineers and designers, the kind of mentors who've spent decades solving problems most drafters never get to see. Every project is a chance to sharpen your craft, learn how American structural standards really work, and build a portfolio that travels anywhere in the world.
If you want to level up, not just clock in, this is your seat.
What You'll Be Doing
- Turning structural plans, sketches, and specs into clean, accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings
- Producing plans, sections, details, figures, and layout sheets for real construction projects
- Following (and protecting) our company drafting standards on every sheet
- Juggling multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Keeping files, templates, and project folders organized so the whole team moves faster
- Soaking up everything you can from our engineers — and bringing your own ideas to the table
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Strong AutoCAD fundamentals
- Confident reading and interpreting structural plans and specifications
- Sharp eye for detail; you catch the things others miss
- Discipline to follow drafting standards consistently, sheet after sheet
- Solid time management and grace under pressure when the workload spikes
- Clear written English communication
- Reliable home setup and the ability to commit to the 8 PM – 4 AM PHT night shift
Bonus Points For
- Experience with shop drawings and material takeoffs
- Familiarity with dynamic blocks, attributes, macros, or AutoCAD automation
- 3D AutoCAD experience
- Background in civil, structural, or geotechnical drafting
- Exposure to ground improvement, slope stabilization, or earthworks projects
- Familiarity with STAAD.Pro, MathCAD, or PLAXIS
What You Get
- A front-row seat with a growing U.S. geostructural firm
- Direct mentorship from experienced engineers and designers
- 100% remote, work-from-home setup
- Real career growth as the team expands
