Job Summary
Assists the Quantity Surveying Audit Group Manager achieve the mandate, mission & vision of the Corporate Internal Audit and in complying with the Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS); Responsible for conducting audit engagements, as well as, gathering and organizing data pertaining to QS audit assignments, and drafting of audit reports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1.1 Complies with GIAS, Institute of Internal Audit (IIA)s Code of Conduct, and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) New Rules of Conduct;
1.2 Organizes audit working papers and reports in accordance with GRC platform/tool being used by the CIA;
1.3 Summarizes audit findings and recommendations and initially discusses them with audit clients.
1.4 Does follow-ups of unresolved audit issues and implementation of auditees action plans under the guidance of superiors.
1.5 Scrutinize contract documents, cost reports, claims, notices and other relevant quantification documents.
1.6 Drafts audit reports/findings and submits them to immediate superior for review.
Job Qualifications
Educational Attainment: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering courses and/or HNC QS preferred.
Technical Skills & Competencies: Knowledge in computer (MSWord, Excel, Powerpoint, 5D BIM is an advantage) and GIAS/COSO-based Internal Control Concepts & Evaluation; Quantity Surveying.
Experience: Not required but with working experience in External/Internal Audit is an advantage.
