About the Role:
Tierra Homeres and Partners, CPAs, is seeking a dedicated Associate Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits, preparing audit reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This position may involve occasional out-of-town fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial audits for clients across various industries.
- Prepare accurate and detailed audit reports.
- Analyze financial statements and data to identify inconsistencies or areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification (preferred).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proven experience in financial audits and report preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations (a plus).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-town fieldwork.
