Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare/Review Income Tax Returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trust
• Prepare/Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) for clients
• Prepare/Review Financial Statements, including relevant accounting schedules
• Prepare/Review Capital Gain Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients
• Prepare/Review Fringe Benefit Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients
• Liaise with ATO agents regarding client concerns
• Facilitate business entity setup and registration
• Prepare ATO applications, such as ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG

Requirements:

- At least 3+ years of experience in the Australian tax accounting industry

- Thorough understanding of Australian taxation legislation, including GST, FBT, CGT, and Division 7A.

- Experienced in SMSF and Tax returns and financial statements for Company, Individual, and Trusts

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload.

- Proficiency in cloud-based and server-based applications, QuickBooks, MYOB and XERO knowledge
