About the Role

We are currently looking forfour (4) experienced AU Tax Accountantsto join our growing team.

In this role, you will work closely with an Australian firm handling tax compliance and accounting services for a diverse client base. This position offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise in Australian taxation while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reviewAustralian Tax Returns, BAS, and Financial Statements
  • Ensure compliance withAustralian tax regulations and legislation
  • Providetax planning support or adviceto clients or internal stakeholders
  • Analyze financial statements and provide insights where needed
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

What We're Looking For

  • 25+ years of Australian Tax and Business Services experience
  • Ability to prepare tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies (including Group Companies), and Trusts
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements
  • Experience in preparing IAS and BAS
  • Experience in tax planning is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient in using Xero, XPM, and other accounting software
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a fun team spirit
  • Bookkeeping experience is a plus

  • Solid understanding of Australian tax legislation, including:
  • Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
  • Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT)
  • Division 7A compliance and application
