JOB OVERVIEW
As an AU Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounting records. Day-to-day activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings and posting them to various accounts. Having a broad and varied role, you will need a strong sense of time management and organisational skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE
- SEnter and categorize transactions using the Xero and QuickBooks softwar
- eUse Dext to collect, organise, and upload source documents (such as invoices, receipts, statements
- )Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and in a timely manne
- rPrepare and process payroll for small business clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and deadline
- sReconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts weekl
- yAssist with BAS and IAS preparatio
- nSupport with month-end and year-end tasks as require
- dPerform administrative duties such as attaching PDF copies of invoices to transaction
- sProactively raise potential risks for clients and the business based on data and observations from checks performed and provide recommendations to mitigate impact
- sAny task deemed necessary by the Team Manager or Service Delivery Manage
