Job Description
Be part of our client's team as an AU Bookkeeper, you'll manage accounting records, maintain accuracy across payables and receivables, and assist with daily transactions, payroll, and reconciliation. From Activity Statements to month-end reporting, you'll ensure every number aligns with Australian accounting standards while contributing to operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Shift: Day Shift, Weekends Off
Work setup: 1 month onsite at SM Mega Tower, then Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

The Qualifications We Seek
Education Requirements (Essential):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting
Experience & Attributes (Essential):
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on bookkeeping experience supporting Australian clients or within an Australian accounting environment
- Proven proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Experience using cloud-based accounting tools such as Dext (ReceiptBank), Hubdoc, or KeyPay (advantageous)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional team setting
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willingness to work onsite for the first month, transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement thereafter
Your Daily Tasks
- Processing daily transactions across a variety of industries
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Managing accounts payable
- Managing accounts receivable
- Processing payroll
- Preparing Activity Statements, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation
- Setting up and maintaining client accounting files
- Assisting in the preparation of month-end management accounts
- Drafting and managing day-to-day email communications with clients
