Job Description

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading, family-owned manufacturer of plastic and styrofoam packaging solutions and dinnerware in their search for a Logistics Supervisor based in Quezon City.

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Taguig City

The role

This individual assists in overseeing all machine shop functions, ensuring that operational goals meet the plant's strategic needs. By meticulously reviewing job orders and coordinating resources, they ensure a seamless transition from order intake to finished product. Additionally, they direct departmental efforts in the engineering and repair of critical production tooling and equipment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitors daily work schedules and production output to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Analyzes new product samples and technical drawings to determine manufacturing requirements.
  • Calculates and prepares technical data for sales departments to facilitate accurate project quotations.
  • Contributes to the design of new moulds and develops corresponding material lists and working drawings.
  • Compiles departmental progress updates and participates in management committee meetings.
  • Ensures the consistent application of company policies and safety regulations within the shop.
  • Facilitates team meetings to provide updates on project status and current job orders.
  • Resolves immediate internal issues and escalates complex problems to senior leadership with proposed solutions.
  • Collaborates with supervisors to address technical concerns and inquiries directly with customers.
  • Conducts performance evaluations with machinists to discuss productivity and professional development.
  • Assesses manpower levels against current workloads to optimize staff distribution and efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in supervisory level
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of working experience
  • Considerable knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, methods and standard practices of the trade.
