Overview
A leading cyber security services organization is seeking an Associate Technical Architect to join its professional services team. The company specializes in security consulting, technical assessments, and advisory services including penetration testing, threat modeling, control evaluations, and maturity assessments.
This role plays a key part in understanding client requirements and translating them into well-defined, technically sound security solutions. It is an excellent opportunity for a security testing professional (e.g., Penetration Tester) looking to transition into solution architecture and technical scoping within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and quality-check client-facing technical documents, including proposals and methodology materials, ensuring proposed solutions align with client requirements and delivery capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal solution design stakeholders to confirm scope, deliverables, and technical feasibility as part of formal internal quality assurance processes.
- Assess and triage incoming client requirements to ensure appropriate technical resources are engaged for scoping activities.
- Gather and analyze technical information from clients to define comprehensive engagement scopes, and clearly document requirements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide centralized technical solution support across multiple client opportunities, with the potential to focus on key strategic accounts and develop deeper engagement knowledge.
- Serve as a technical escalation point and support resource for delivery consultants when solution-related discussions arise with clients.
Functional & Technical Skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze technical documentation, including high-level and low-level network diagrams.
- Experience managing and engaging with clients in a professional services or consulting capacity.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in producing clear and structured technical documentation.
- Ability to contribute technical oversight within quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Confident, professional, and articulate presentation style.
