Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Associate to join our team on-site at our office in Pasig. The Associate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and offering advice to clients on various legal matters. This role includes assisting in litigation and corporate transactions, collaborating with partners and the legal team, and ensuring high-quality, precise, and timely deliverables are met. The Associate will also assist the Partners in negotiations, maintain client relationships, and stay updated on changes to laws and regulations relevant to the Firm's practice areas.

Qualifications

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills to prepare detailed reports, contracts, and memoranda.
  • Proficiency in litigation and dispute resolution, including case strategy development and filing legal briefs.
  • Experience in corporate matters such as M&As, taxation, securities law, and contract law is highly desirable.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for court hearings, negotiations, and client interactions.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management to successfully handle multiple cases.
  • Law degree from a well-recognized institution; bar admission in good standing in the Philippines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Interest or experience in special projects, real estate law, energy, or insurance law is a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and providing client-focused solutions.
  • Genuine concern for the Filipino people and the communities we serve through our ESG projects.
