As an Associate QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role involves both manual and automated testing to identify and drive the resolution of defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence. You will collaborate with product teams to implement quality control procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual & Automated Testing
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts to ensure the quality of software products and applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify software defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts under supervision, focusing on increasing test coverage and efficiency.
- Support the setup and execution of test environments for manual and automated testing.
Documentation
- Report, track, and manage defects through tools such as Jira.
- Assist in reviewing and analysing test results, identifying areas for improvement in the testing process.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and testing procedures.
Collaboration
- Work closely with our product teams, including developers and product managers, to understand product requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites to enhance the efficiency of the QA process.
Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Graduates welcome to apply.
- Basic experience with manual testing; exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium, Katalon.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g. SQL, C#, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Exposure to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is an advantage.
