Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Assistant Media Manager. The role of Assistant Media Manager for BCFG Philippines is responsible to oversee and execute a holistic strategy in integrating various media channels like Television, Radio, Print, OOH, Digital and other platform innovation both online and offline with focus on efficient and effective media buying.

What Are The Job Responsibilities

  • Strongly support the Group Media Manager in leading holistic media strategies for BCFG PH categories
  • Manage within their assigned categories URC Total Media planning agenda in the Philippines in line with the change in consumer behavior and brand needs
  • In partnership with media agency, develop holistic media plans and guide URC stakeholders from planning to execution
  • Roll-out the channel/audience planning framework that will be used by all categories during strategic planning stage
  • Set specific OKRs for their assigned categories on Media Efficiency, Effectiveness, Innovation and Capability
  • Create media briefs that reflects the business needs of their assigned categories and clearly translate direction to media agency to address the business objectives

Strategic Media Lead for Categories

  • Provide strategic direction on channel mix effectiveness and efficiencies aligned with brand objectives
  • Ensure planning principles are considered in all media channels and how it integrates into an overall media plan
  • Center point of contact of BCFG PH Snackfoods and Beverage brand marketing team
  • Create a process for regular interaction with stakeholders VP Marketing and Global MDM team

Channel / Audience Planning Framework

  • Develop a framework with the media agency based on market and consumer insights
  • Refresh strategic thinking when there are changes in market or consumer landscape

KPI Setting

  • Help define measures to track and identify effectiveness and efficiencies of overall media (Multi-media Reach) and each platform offline (Television, Radio, Print, OOH)
  • Work closely with media agency in delivering KPIs for each channel offline and online

People Management

  • Lead local media team to excel and deliver media planning and buying OKRs
  • Ensure media team is aligned with planning principles and is equipped to support brand marketing team
  • Continue to build stronger relationship with media agency that will empower them to provide best output to URC

Support other key elements of the URC's Overall Media Agenda including but not limited to:

  • IMC Planning for all URC PH brands
  • Best practices in local market that can help build regional agenda in SEA
  • Help build capabilities within the Marketing Team on Strategic Media and Buying
  • Forecast or Outlook on a long-term Media strategic plan for URC Philippines

What Are The Qualifications

  • Proficient or technical knowledge on Media Strategy communications planning and ideation developed upon briefing of brand teams
  • Proficient or technical knowledge on all media channel basic and latest principles (Television, Radio, Print, OOH and Digital plus recent media channel trends in the market)
  • Strong understanding in developing consumer insights and analysis which will be an important input to Media Strategy Development
  • Strong understanding of cross media channel planning and multi-media reach planning and how strategies are translated to Media KPIs
  • Strong understanding of Digital New Media and how it complements to the overall media plan
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to help influence multiple stakeholders internally and externally, locally and regionally
  • Collaboration and ability to work and deliver in multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
