We're looking for a full-time Associate Lawyer to join our growing team. You should be proactive, organized, and eager to learn. Experience or interest in IP, privacy, or tech-related work is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle trademark and/or patent work: filings, oppositions, enforcement, and portfolio management
- Advise clients on data privacy compliance (e.g., under the Data Privacy Act)
- Draft and review contracts (e.g., licensing, tech agreements, NDAs, service contracts)
- Conduct legal research and prepare client advisories and legal opinions
- Assist in legal proceedings and regulatory proceedings (e.g., IPOPHL, NPC)
- Handle and support IP litigation, including case prep, pleadings, and hearings
Qualifications
Licensed Philippine lawyer
25 years of relevant experience preferred (IP, tech, data privacy, or commercial law)
Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Detail-oriented and client-focused
Willing to learn and grow in a specialized legal practice
