The Industrial Engineer is responsible for establishing standards to assess equipment and factory capacity and performance, and for routinely validating and analyzing these metrics against actual results. They will lead productivity improvement initiatives using lean methodologies, identify equipment and process-flow bottlenecks, recommend effective solutions, optimize labor resources by defining and improving man-machine ratios, and support the standardization of processes across all factories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standardize processes related to resource planningsuch as OEE, UPH, MMR, and other key performance metricsacross all factories.
  • Compare planned OEE targets with actual performance and drive follow-up actions to close gaps.
  • Validate UPH data and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate capacity and efficiency calculations.
  • Review cycle-time performance against planning assumptions and highlight variances requiring corrective action.
  • Identify and develop solutions to mitigate equipment and process-flow bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive performance metrics, productivity improvements, and lean methodology initiatives.
