There are two Chevron companies operating in the Philippines: Chevron Holdings Incorporated (CHI) and Chevron Philippines Incorporated (CPI).
CHI is a shared services center providing transactional, processing, and consulting services in the areas of finance and accounting, information technology, supply chain management, human resources, downstream customer service and marketing. Established in 1998, CHI serves Chevron affiliates in six continents around the world. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the leading members of the shared services industry in the Philippines.

About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an
Associate Contracts Specialist. This role will be based in
6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Legal Terms: Understand and fluently apply key legal terms needed for crude oil and gas trading and/or cargo movement through various methods of transport within the Chevron business context.
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial contract that align with the negotiated trading deal, ensuring all contracts are comprehensive, clear, and enforceable.
- Unambiguous trade deals: Turnaround large volumes of contracts while maintaining quality and clarity on the negotiated trade deals and ensuring commercial/contract risks are mitigated and discrepancies are resolved.
- Collaboration: Collaboratively work with the traders in the Singapore office and SMEs located across the world specializing in various areas like compliance, tax, risk, legal, demurrage, finance, accounting, import, export, etc.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all parties involved in the contracting process, including third parties, legal or other SMEs, traders, and internal teams.

Required Qualifications
>3 yrs of relevant work experience in supply and trading contracts for crude, refined products, NGLs, and LNG. Strong organization skills to manage large volumes of contract requests and email traffic with <5 days turnaround.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to understand the deal and application of contract provisions in a real-life context to cover for any risks. Ability to communicate effectively and clear with the third parties to resolve discrepancies Proficient in collaborating skills to build rapport with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Oil & Gas Industry related to crude oil and gas trading and/or cargo movement through various methods of transport.
- Knowledge of shipping law.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in law with strong legal drafting skills.
