Primary Function:
Material Planning primarily ensures the right materials are available at the right time and quantity to support production and operational efficiency.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or any related course
Experience: * 0 to 3 years experience and exposure in any of the following fields – Material Planning, Resource Capacity or IE related functions
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate material plans to ensure timely procurement and availability of resources aligned with production schedules and customer demands.
- Monitor and adjust inventory to balance stock availability with cost efficiency, minimizing excess and obsolete inventory while avoiding stockouts.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to analyze budget performance, track spending against forecasts, and identify areas for financial improvement.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across supply chain and operations, and implement initiatives to improve cost efficiency without compromising quality or service.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor operational performance, including inventory turnover, order accuracy, and supplier performance.
- Work closely with production, procurement, finance, and logistics teams to align planning processes and ensure integrated decision-making.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems related to materials planning, inventory, and cost centers to support reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Participate in or lead projects aimed at process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within supply chain and cost management functions.

- With experience/exposure in analyst related function and knowledgeable on SAP,PBI, SQL, advance Excel will be of advantage
