About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Analyst, Finance - Accounting. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

General Accounting focusing on Upstream Business:

  • Perform end-to-end general ledger activities, including balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations (prepayments, deferred credits, accruals, and suspense accounts), ensuring timely identification and resolution of reconciling items.
  • Prepare, review, and post a wide range of journal entries (recurring, accrual, allocation, residual clearing, and adjusting) and actively support month-end and period-end close to deliver accurate and timely financial results.
  • Perform variance analysis and develop reports and insightsworking closely with Business Planning & Forecasting (BPF)to support financial accuracy, root-cause analysis, and G&A cost reviews.
  • Analyze and allocate G&A costs across departments or projects, including monitoring time-writing compliance, to ensure fair, accurate, and well-supported cost allocation.
  • Collaborate closely with upstream, downstream, and cross-functional partners to gather allocation drivers (e.g., time-writing profiles, cost center and FTE movements) and resolve end-to-end accounting and reporting issues.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOX controls, documentation standards, and reconciliation timelines, maintaining a strong control and compliance mindset.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by helping simplify, standardize, and automate accounting and offshored finance processes.
  • Progress efforts on current challenges, initiatives and Ad hoc projects

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or management accounting
  • Minimum of five (5) years overall work experience in finance, accounting or auditing
  • Good English oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
