Key Accountabilities
- Develop a strong business knowledge of IHG One Rewards program
- Execute small to mid-sized modeling or analytics projects end-to-end with light oversight
- Apply feature engineering and model evaluation best practices
- Support A/B test setup and results analysis
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements
- Prepare clear, business-ready summaries of analytical findings
- Other job duties as assigned based on focus of the role
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related quantitative field with 5 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics; or master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field with 3 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics
Technical Skills And Knowledge
- Strong SQL and Python for analytics and model development
- Working knowledge of supervised ML techniques and evaluation metrics
- Experience with version control (Git) and code reproducibility
- Familiarity with cloud ML workflows (GCP Vertex AI pipelines, BigQueryML)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
