Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a
Technical Assistant - IE.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the executive team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to the Manufacturing Director in overseeing daily operations and long-term initiatives.
- Analyze production data, operational metrics, and process performance to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and updates for management meetings and operational reviews.
- Track and monitor key manufacturing KPIs, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the implementation of productivity and process improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other IE tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain) to follow through on action plans and special projects.
- Help coordinate and track ongoing projects under the Manufacturing Director's supervision.
- Represent the Manufacturing Director in meetings when necessary and ensure timely follow-through on commitments and deliverables.
What are the Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
- Preferably with 24 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (internship experience may be considered).
- Strong skills in data analysis, time and motion studies, and process documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
- Good organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in working with senior leaders.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and detail-oriented.
