The Assistant Site Logistic Manager is responsible for overseeing warehousing operations for raw materials, packaging supplies, and spare parts. This role ensures that logistics activities effectively support manufacturing and engineering requirements while maintaining operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The position works closely with internal teams to align warehousing plans with production schedules and company standards.
Job Description:
- Plan and coordinate warehousing needs in alignment with production and engineering forecasts.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely disposition of aging or expiring stocks.
- Implement and maintain company guidelines for receiving, handling, and storage of materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to discipline, GMP, food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance warehousing operations and service levels.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in operations, preferably within an FMCG environment.
- Background in inventory and warehouse management.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
