Job Description
Job summary
We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to find and win new clients. The role focuses on lead generation and business development, supported by a basic understanding of how recruitment works. You will report to the Division Manager and work closely with the recruitment team.
Key responsibilities
Lead generation
- Research and build a list of target companies with hiring needs.
- Reach out to prospects through calls, email, LinkedIn, Lusha, Apollo, referrals and events.
- Qualify leads and set meetings with HR heads and business decision-makers.
Business development and sales
- Meet prospects to understand their hiring needs and present recruitment services.
- Prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up until the deal is closed.
- Negotiate terms and sign new client contracts.
- Grow existing accounts by finding new roles and repeat business.

Coordination and reporting
- Hand over new accounts to the recruitment team with a clear job brief.
- Keep leads and deals updated in the CRM.
- Submit weekly reports on activities, pipeline and sales results.
- Support the Sales Manager in guiding junior sales staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR or a related field.
- 5 years above of B2B sales or business development experience; experience selling services is an advantage.
- Proven record of generating leads and closing deals.
- Basic knowledge of the recruitment process (sourcing, screening, placement) and common fee models.
- Experience in a recruitment, staffing or HR services firm is a plus.
Skills
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino.
- Confident in negotiating and closing.
- Organized, self-driven and target-oriented.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office.
KPIs
- Number of qualified leads and client meetings per month.
- New clients signed per quarter.
- Sales revenue against target.
- Pipeline value and proposal win rate.
- Timely and accurate CRM updates and reports.
