Job Description

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a multinational healthcare group in their search for a Assistant Procurement Manager based in Pasay.

Salary Range: 70,000 - 80,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Pasay

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, followed by expert negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the company. Source medical supplies, equipment, and services essential for daily operations.
  • Operational Execution & Inventory Management: Overseeing the day-to-day purchasing process, managing inventory levels (replenishment, control systems), and collaborating with medical centers to accurately forecast demand and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Cost Optimization: Proactively analyzing market trends and internal processes to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and improvements to the overall procurement budget.
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensuring all activities adhere to local and international regulations, maintaining meticulous documentation of transactions and contracts, and providing regular performance reports.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with vendors, conducting performance reviews, and resolving any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
  • Internal Coordination: Serving as a vital link between local operations (understanding their needs) and the Procurement Manager (aligning strategies), ensuring timely support and seamless communication across functional teams. Maintain regular communication with the Procurement Manager (India) to align strategies and goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related finance/technical field.
  • Proven experience in procuring medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceutical products, and/or services.
  • This includes knowledge of industry-specific compliance and quality standards (e.g., GMP, DOH regulations).
  • Clear, professional communication (written and verbal, in English and often Filipino) for internal coordination and external vendor management.
  • Must have experience in procurement of Lab Items and should have knowledge of IMPORT.
