Assistant Manager for Purchasing

As they grow, they're looking for a seasoned Deputy Director for Purchasing to lead their procurement function and ensure seamless supply of materials and services that power theplant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end purchasing for local and foreign supplies and services

- Ensure timely and accurate procurement from accredited suppliers to support uninterrupted operations

- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and monitor delivery performance

- Supervise, train, and develop Purchasing Staff

- Review and approve Canvass Sheets, Purchase Orders, and shipment summaries

- Monitor open Purchase Requests and undelivered POs to ensure prompt resolution

- Evaluate, accredit, and review suppliers; communicate performance results

- Coordinate with internal teams to source new or alternative materials

- Maintain complete and accurate supplier documentation and records

- Ensure compliance with ISO, BFAD, DENR, HALAL, HACCP, Safety & Housekeeping standards

- Drive cost control initiatives and recommend process improvements

- Support company programs and lead team performance management

- Handle travel arrangements for foreign visitors as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven leadership experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

- Experience managing local and international sourcing

- Solid understanding of quality, safety, and regulatory requirements

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
