Role Description

TheAssistant Manager for Finance & Accounting is responsible for overseeing general accounting, management and financial reporting, tax review, disbursements and collections oversight, cash position monitoring, placements, loans management, and bank coordination. This role supervises specialists and associates to ensure accurate and timely closing, compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and effective treasury operations, excluding direct responsibility for bank reconciliations. Additionally, the position drives continuous improvement, ensures cross-functional collaboration, and supports staff development and succession planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in accounting, tax, and financial reporting, with exposure to treasury operations, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and strong skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
  • Willing to work on-site in Sta. Rosa, Laguna (Monday - Friday, compressed work week)
