Accounting & Finance Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate accounting practices, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial analysis to support management decision-making. The role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong technical accounting and financial management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
- Handle general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Prepare and file tax returns, including BIR reports and statutory requirements
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
- Support internal and external audits
- Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks as assigned
Qualification
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- At least 25 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems)
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
