Job Description

Accounting & Finance Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate accounting practices, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing financial analysis to support management decision-making. The role requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong technical accounting and financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Handle general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including BIR reports and statutory requirements
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance
  • Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks as assigned

Qualification

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
  • At least 25 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems)
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
