Assistant Controller (Onsite)

Job Summary

TheControllerwill lead all aspects of corporate and fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance across the company and its affiliated entities, with a strategic emphasis on process optimization, automation, and intelligent technology integration. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role requires a forward-thinking financial leader with deep analytical capabilities, exceptional technical accounting knowledge, extensive experience managing complex multi- entity structures within real estate investment and development and demonstrated expertise in identifying automation opportunities and leveraging modern toolsincluding LLMs and AI solutionsto enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

TheControlleris responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all financial data, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies while systematically eliminating manual processes, improving data quality, and building scalable systems that enable growth. This role will provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership, oversee institutional investor and lender reporting, maintain robust internal controls, and drive a culture of continuous technological improvement and process innovation to support growth and operational excellence.

AssistantController- Non-negotiable qualifications/requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Sage Intacct, Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Minimum of 4 years hands on experience with Sage Intacct
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, pivot tables, financial schedules).
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple entities.
