We are seeking an experienced Asset Management & Outage Superintendent to lead asset management strategies and outage planning for our power generation facilities. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations while driving environmental compliance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Asset Management Plans (AMP) for generation assets
- Lead planning and execution of planned and forced outages, ensuring timely completion and cost control
- Oversee routine maintenance programs and validate work order processes
- Conduct equipment life-cycle analysis, risk assessments, and cost-efficiency reviews
- Manage spare parts validation and procurement accuracy
- Monitor asset performance and ensure data integrity for analysis and reporting
- Prepare and control maintenance budgets and outage cost plans
- Lead and develop a team of 9 direct reports, ensuring performance management and training compliance
- Ensure 100% adherence to EHS policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in coal power plant operations and maintenance
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Licenses: Registered Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- Preferred Training: Asset Management (ISO 55001), Advanced Project Management, Data Analytics, Risk Management, Safety Training
