The ART DIRECTOR is responsible for elevating the creative quality and execution of visual campaigns across various media channels. They focus on crafting high-quality, impactful designs that align with the company's brand identity and resonate with target audiences. This role demands technical expertise, a strong creative vision, and the ability to execute projects with independence and excellence.
The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.) Creative Conceptualization
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative and compelling visual concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
- Translate creative briefs into visual strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Vs. a Junior Art Director, an Art Director should be able to ideate ideas faster
2.) Visual Campaign Execution
- Assist the team in executing the creative vision.
- Able to execute vision with skillful showcases of graphic design and art direction.
- Ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and effectively convey the intended message.
- Vs. a Junior Art Director, an Art Director has to have a more refined taste and is able to execute materials faster
3.) Collaboration
- Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and other creative team members in development of creative assets.
- Vs. a Junior Art Director, a degree of independence is to be expected from an Art Director in that they should require minimal/less creative supervision
4.) Trend Analysis and Innovation
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
- Propose creative approaches and solutions that enhance campaign performance and brand impact.
5.) Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with account managers and stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver exceptional creative solutions.
- Present visual concepts to internal teams and incorporate feedback to refine deliverables.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier).
- Is Skilled in developing and executing creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography.
- Is an Effective communicator, both in presenting creative concepts and providing feedback to team members.
- Possesses Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide junior team members.
- Is Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Has Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting thoughts, ideas, and data
- Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize, listen actively, and build strong relationships and be customer centric.

- Has Ideation (Creative Data Tech) Skills: Ability to bring to life said brand concepts/messages/stories/big ideas in ATL and Digital platforms including but not limited to TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, On-Ground, FB, YT, IG, TIKTOK, Web, Search, AR, VR, ER etc.
- Has Execution (Art Direction) Skills: Ability to craft visuals for ATL and all types of digital platforms including but not limited to (logo and branding - social cards - storyboard)
- Has Presentation Skills: Ability to present ideas and executions clearly, creatively, and compellingly to teammates, line managers, to internal stakeholders, and to clients.
- Has Work Ethic: Ability to both work independently and work within a team. Must be able to embrace feedback and builds from teammates, line managers, internal stakeholders, and clients. Must be organized and efficient.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year college degree preferably in Advertising, Communication Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing, Literature, or any related course.
- 3-5 years experience as an advertising Art Director.
- Must pass the NuWorks Art Test.
