Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager needs to meet sales objectives of assigned territory by promoting and selling cement products through professional sales techniques, providing excellent customer service, and promoting long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Drives product sales and supporting marketing initiatives by promoting cement and related offerings.
- Identify target accounts based on present and potential sales revenues, profits, cost to sell and service, and probability of success
- Conduct sales and market analysis and recommend action plans to management
- Serve as a key liaison between the company and clients, delivering training, sharing market insights, and advising on retail management practices.
- Promotes continuous learning and feedback to ensure alignment with evolving industry trends and internal programs.
- Conduct sales and market analysis and recommend action plans to management
- Manage and maintain accounts receivables in compliance with objectives (e.g. DSO, Sales Turnover, Cash to Credit Sales Ratio, etc.)
- Complete/updateand submit credit evaluation forms in a timely manner
- Collect receivables and overdue accounts; prepare collection letters, if necessary
- Keep abreast of market conditions and industry trends that may affect the territory
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years previous experience in technical sales
