The Area Operations Control Officer primarily acts as branch support for controls and universal branch reliever. She/He is responsible and accountable for supervising the day-to-day branch operations service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Monitors and ensures adherence of Branches to set internal controls, policies and procedures; Compliance of branches to all Regulatory and Reportorial Requirements of the Bank, as well as Service Delivery to the Customers by promoting operational efficiency.
- Administers control methods and mitigating measures to improve branch operational condition and ensure acceptable banking practices for both Internal and External regulators.
- Assist the Department Head in identifying and implementing new processes, and/or implement changes on existing processes to enable optimal services to customers (internal/external).
- Assist branches to rectify the lapses noted in preparation for future audit engagement and be able to improve their branch performances.
- Acts as Risk Coordinator (RC) for assigned branches.
Qualifications
- Graduate of any Business-related course
- At least four to five (4-5) years work related experience
- Knowledge of Bank Operations and Controls
- Willing to work in Matina, Davao City
