Job Description

Your impact

  • Liaise with Modelers, Architects, Engineers, Project Manager/s, Design Manager/s, and Section Manager about project BIM requirements
  • Receive (and inform the Section manager) & disseminate modelling & coordination tasks from the home offices (GID)
  • Have a good understanding of International BIM standards / requirements (ISO19650)
  • Ensure drawings & models are completed to the desired program & budget
  • Ensure QA/ QC procedures are adhered to
  • Advise Architects, Engineers, Project Manager/s, Design Manager/s, and Section Manage of issues or delays as early as possible
  • Assist in Setting up Common Data Environments (CDEs)
  • Audits the civil models to ensure they're fit for purpose
  • Performs Automated Clash Detection and produce clash reports.
  • Attends or facilitates Virtual Design Reviews (VDR)
  • Perform modelling works for architecture discipline as needed or when no BIM coordination works are available at a given time.

Here's what you'll need

  • Proficient in Revit or similar software
  • Experience with co-ordination software such as Navisworks and/or Revizto
  • Relevant Building Information Modelling (BIM) practical experience
  • The ability to manage a project modelling team/s
  • Resilience to deal with critical feedback
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Being able to work under pressure
  • Being accurate and patient
  • An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods would be beneficial
  • A sound knowledge of engineering design principles would be beneficial
  • Experience working within a multi-national working environment would be beneficial.
