As an Architect at Hive Modular, your role will include the following:

Design & Development

  • Collaborate to create and refine architectural concepts for high-end modular homes.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and detailed documentation with precision and adherence to design intent.
  • Ensure all outputs align with Hive's standards for quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.

BIM Operations (ArchiCAD)

  • Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models to maintain accuracy and consistency across project documentation.
  • Support coordination between disciplines through effective model management and version control.
  • Continuously optimize BIM workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
  • Communicate design intent clearly across teams to maintain project cohesion from concept to construction.

Creative Problem-Solving

  • Analyze design challenges and propose innovative, practical solutions.
  • Participate in design reviews and workshops to enhance modular design outcomes.

Visualization

  • Use Twinmotion or similar tools to produce engaging 3D visualizations and walkthroughs that effectively communicate design concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, preferably from a recognized or top-tier academic institution.
  • Licensed Architect (PRC required). Must be eligible to sign and seal drawings for permit submissions; professional liability coverage provided under Hive's policy.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design, preferably with a strong portfolio in high-end residential or modular projects.
  • Proficient in BIM software, ideally ArchiCAD; working knowledge of other design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate effectively across design, construction, and client teams.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate complex design challenges into practical, buildable solutions.
  • Experience in Twinmotion or similar visualization tools for architectural renderings is an advantage.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
