We are looking for an Intermediate Architect with solid experience in quantity surveying, cost
control, and construction management, particularly for interior fit-out projects.
Role Overview
The Intermediate Architect will support the design and project teams by preparing cost estimates,
BOQs, and technical documentation, while assisting in construction coordination and site
implementation. This role is suited for an architect who is comfortable working between design
intent and construction reality.
Key Responsibilities
Quantity Surveying and Costing
Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for interior fit-out works
Assist in budget development, cost checks, and value engineering exercises
Review contractor quotations and assist in bid evaluation
Track variations, change orders, and cost implications during construction
Construction and Project Support
Assist in construction documentation, shop drawing reviews, and material submittals
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants during implementation
Conduct site visits, prepare site reports, and monitor progress against drawings
Support the Project Manager in ensuring quality, cost, and schedule compliance
Design and Technical Coordination
Translate design concepts into buildable details and drawings
Ensure alignment between drawings, specifications, and cost information
Assist in resolving site-based design and coordination issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
Three to six years of professional experience, preferably in interior fit-out or commercial projects
Hands-on experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation
Familiarity with local construction methods, materials, and costing
Experience supporting construction and site implementation is a strong advantage
Skills and Tools
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage
Strong working knowledge of Excel for costing and quantity take-offs
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers
Clear communication skills for coordination with site teams and consultants
