Your impact

At Jacobs, we're shaping a more connected, sustainable world by delivering innovative solutions for complex healthcare projects. As a Healthcare Architect, you'll be at the forefront of designing and coordinating hospital environments that meet the highest standards of safety, functionality, and patient care. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll transform vision into realitycreating spaces that not only comply with stringent regulations but also enhance healing, efficiency, and the overall patient experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design and documentation for large-scale hospital and healthcare facility projects.
  • Coordinate with healthcare planners, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design and operations.
  • Apply healthcare building codes and standards (ANZ preferred; US acceptable) to ensure compliance.
  • Utilize advanced design tools including BIM, Revit, and Navisworks for project delivery.
  • Manage design workflows and construction coordination to meet project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members in healthcare design best practices.

Here's what you'll need

  • A recognised Architectural degree and hold professional registration.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in hospital design, demonstrating extensive design and delivery expertise.
  • Proficiency in BIM platforms and tools Revit and Navisworks.
  • Proven experience in hospital design and construction coordination, including multidisciplinary integration.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare building codes and standards (ANZ preferred; US acceptable).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations and workflows, ensuring designs support clinical efficiency and patient care.
