Job Summary
- Conducts inspection, verification and assigns value to moderate to complex properties being appraised.
- Prepares appraisal reports of the properties being appraised for loan, sale and acquisition purposes.
How will you contribute
- Scans and verifies/examines requests for appraisal from various requesting units of the bank as to completeness.
- Can appraise complex real properties in various geographical locations.
- Conducts title verification to ascertain property ownership.
- Establishes exact location of the property subject for appraisal through approved plans.
- Inspects the property being presented for collateral, sale or acquisition purposes.
- Investigates and gathers market data, comparable prices of properties similar to the one under appraisal.
- Analyzes market data and assigns appraisal values to the property being appraised.
- Prepares appraisal report and submits it to the appropriate approving authority for review and approval.
What will make you successful
- Graduate of a 4-year course, preferably with a degree in Engineering or Real Estate Management
- Must have at least 2 years experience in property valuation
- Has appraisal skills, knowledge in technical and property laws
