The Appointment Setter is responsible for contacting potential clients, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. This role plays a key part in generating new business opportunities by ensuring that only qualified prospects move forward in the sales process.
-Make outbound calls, emails, or messages to potential clients using provided leads
-Qualify prospects based on set criteria (needs, budget, authority, timeline)
-Schedule appointments or meetings for Account Executives or Sales Representatives
-Accurately update and manage lead information in the CRM system
-Follow up with prospects to confirm appointments and reduce no-shows
-Handle objections professionally and maintain a positive brand image
-Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment-setting targets
-Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs
-High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus)
-Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing, or sales is preferred
-Strong communication and active listening skills
-Confident speaking on the phone and through digital channels
-Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
-Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools
