Role Overview

The Appointment Setter will play a critical role in supporting Computer Xplorers growth by proactively engaging prospects, qualifying leads, and booking highquality appointments for the sales and leadership teams. The resource will be provided with a database and would also need to be experienced in doing research via LinkedIn etc.

This role is ideal for a confident communicator who is comfortable engaging schools, educators, parents (optional), and education decisionmakers, and who understands the importance of professionalism when representing an education brand. (Vic 1st- 1000 schools). Recruit the uni teachers and students for further training that will run the after school club forums. Filter the resumes and share with the team

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead Engagement & Appointment Setting

  • Make outbound calls to warm and cold leads, including:
    • Schools and education institutions
    • Parents and guardians (Optional)
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria
  • Schedule appointments for the sales or leadership team
  • Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on appointments as required
CRM & Data Management

  • Accurately update lead and call activity in the CRM (Properiatary)
  • Maintain clean and uptodate contact records
  • Track outcomes, followups, and appointment confirmations

Communication & Brand Representation

  • Represent Computer Xplorers in a professional, friendly, and trustworthy manner
  • Clearly articulate Computer Xplorers value proposition and offerings
  • Handle objections confidently and respectfully
  • Follow approved call scripts while maintaining a natural conversational style

Essential

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years experience as an Appointment Setter, Telemarketer, or Inside Sales Representative
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Excellent phone presence with a warm, confident tone
  • Experience working with CRM systems
  • Comfortable speaking with educators, parents (optional), and professionals
  • Ability to do research on LinkedIn etc

Desirable

  • Experience in education, training, SaaS, or servicebased sales
  • Exposure to the Australian market
  • Understanding of lead qualification frameworks
  • Experience supporting franchising or multilocation businesses
