Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and collaborating with different teams to ensure smooth and continuous operation of software applications. The position demands attentiveness to detail and a commitment to maintaining system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address system issues effectively. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall expertise. - Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to prevent future disruptions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Ivalua. - Strong understanding of software troubleshooting and root cause analysis. - Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level applications. - Familiarity with integration points and workflows within complex software ecosystems. - Ability to analyze logs and system data to identify and resolve issues efficiently. - Excellent communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
