ABOUT THE ROLE

The Application Support Analyst role will ensure Steadfast Shared Services delivers a high level of customer service to users of Finance systems.

Working as a Finance Application support representative for Steadfast gives you the opportunity to engage with Finance stakeholders as well as with Finance systems vendors (internal & external) and other stakeholders.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the financial services industry and is looking for the next challenge in their career, or someone new to the industry but with a passion to learn.

Your day will see you taking inbound emails, calls, and tickets from Finance users where you will spend time engaging with them and getting to understand their needs. Some of the calls will involve assisting users with accessing Finance systems, training the users on navigating the systems, as well as raising any issues to the system vendor if needed.

You will also be required to assist in the development and maintenance of support documentation, procedures, and guides; as well as perform various administrative duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide exceptional customer service experience whilst providing Level 1 support to our users.

Escalate issues internally to Level 2 support with appropriate investigation clearly identified on the ticket.

Escalate issues externally to the relevant parties.

Maintain professional relationships with Finance stakeholders and System vendors.

Be proactive in your own learning of Finance Systems.

Assist in the development and maintenance of help desk documentation.

Perform various administrative duties.

UNIQUE QUALITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

The ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge.

A customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, when needed.

Existing Financial services knowledge or a passion to learn.

Previous experience working on Concur and SAP ByD is a plus.
