Our Information Technology team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Makati for the role of Application Architect.

In this role, you will work closely with the Application Architecture Head to document current systems and define the future-state application architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards. You will guide solution designs, develop technology roadmaps, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to drive architectural consistency and successful project execution.

What the role will entail

• Collaborate with the Application Architecture Head to document current-state architecture and define the future-state application architecture aligned with business goals.
• Establish and enforce application architecture standards to ensure consistency across project designs and implementations.
• Contribute to the development of the bank&aposs technology roadmap in coordination with the Enterprise Architecture Team.
• Lead and coordinate with development, infrastructure, internal teams, and third-party vendors to execute projects aligned with the target architecture.
• Partner with development teams to design end-to-end solutions and prepare architecture review documentation and presentations.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Postgraduate degree and TOGAF certification are advantages).
• At least 8 years of experience across multiple IT disciplines, including 3+ years in Technology Architecture with hands-on work in digital transformation initiatives (e.g., microservices, RPA, DevSecOps).
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, architectural strategy, agile methodologies, and the ability to support agile teams in managing technical and architectural risks.
• Proven experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps, with the ability to present to both senior executives and technical teams.
• Banking industry experience and knowledge of core banking systems (e.g., Temenos, Narada) are advantageous but not required.
